William Adriaense Bennet Descendants and Related Families, by Kenneth A. Bennett, (Gateway Press, Baltimore, 1998) includes all descendants in all lines as far as the compiler was able to locate but doesn't get very far with the line shown here perhaps

leading to Bruce Springsteen.

Marytje Thomasse Baddie Verdon, m. (3) Paulus Vanderbeek, their descendants include Elizabeth Ann (Bloomer) Warren Ford (Betty Ford, wife of Gerald R. Ford, President of the United States, 1974-77). I posted the line on the Rootsweb Dutch Colonies list

a few years ago. Sometime last year I sent an RD descent for Mrs. Ford via Agnes (Harris) Spencer Edwards of Connecticut to Chris Child at the NEHGS (a fourth great-grandson, Calvin Halliday, born 1777, Suffield, CT, d. 1852, Battle Creek, Michigan
married Esther Fisher, born 1782, New York, died 1852, Battle Creek, a fourth great-granddaughter of Marytje Thomasse Baddie Verdon Vanderbeek. They, in turn, were third great-grandparents of Mrs. Ford).

Mr. Child acknowledged receiving the information and said he'd pass it along to Gary Boyd Roberts. When I get a chance I'll post details here.

I am descended from William Adriaense Bennet (WAB) as are about 25 other Bennett males in the USA who belong to a Bennett Family group02 on the site FamilyTreeDNA.com. All of us are connected to WAB via a Y-DNA paternity test, some of whom have
confirmed historical family records, others such as myself still have gaps in the historical records prior to 1800. The family tree of WAB was extensively documented by the NYB&G society in their journal "The Record" originally by Ledley in 1962 and
