We were able to locate more information on this Vatican representative cycling event and whilst the male person is allegedly Dutch / Australian we do not know if they have dual citizenship.
Their prerogative circumstance is by nature of marriage to a wife who is an diplomatic representative to the Vatican (and probably Catholic) and thusly doesn't know the difference between representing Australian interests v's those of the Vatican such as ENGAGING IN PROPAGANDA TO CONCEAL WAR CRIMES.
