    From D.M. Procida@21:1/5 to All on Tue Mar 7 10:07:40 2023
I'm listening to some music on my headphones, playing from Apple Music on my MacBook.

I take off the headphones. The music stops.

I put them back on a moment later. The music starts up again. This time, it's playing music from my iPhone.

ARE WE BEING TAKEN FOR FOOLS?

I think so. I have all sorts of problems with BT. I usually use my iphone,
but occasionally I want to use my Mac. They will only connect if switch I
off BT on my phone and vice versa when I want to use my phone again.

Then there's the fun games where I'm happily listening on the phone and
then my wife drives past in the car and the phone autoconnects to the car
even if the radio isn't on. Shambles!

Look at the "connect automatically" headphone settings on both MacBook
and iPhone. The headphones can be set to only connect automatically if
that device was the most recent one to be connected.

that's normal, assuming the headphones have a sensor to detect it.

apple airpods will resume on the airpods.

on the other hand, non-apple headphones might do that.
