PayPal(PYPL)正推出一种所谓的稳定币，这是该支付巨头进军加密货币领域的最新举措。

PayPal USD将完全由美元存款、短期美国国债、类似现金等价物支持。PayPal USD由Paxos Trust Co.发行，将是PayPal网络中唯一受支持的稳定币。

总部位于圣何塞的PayPal表示，这种稳定币与美元挂钩，从9月份开始，Paxos将为PayPal USD发布一份月度报告，概述其储备情况。
