MTG needs to be REMOVED somehow ... find SOME reason
    to censure/impeach/expel/arrest. She's a fuckin' LOON.

And no, I generally vote moderate/con ... but MTG
is just *TOO* ! Some kind of major brain dysfunction
    going on here.

I like Johnson as a person but I'm not convinced that he is a strong enough person to stand against
things that don't fit the Republican platform.

Either way, this is the absolute worst time to attempt to remove Johnson.

Alas we've kinda come up on a time where more "unity" is
required - the fun little partisan spats HAVE to give
way to sensibility once in a while. MTG is addicted to
those fun little spats. All this is doing is helping
some of our more serious enemies in the world.

Johnson does seem able to bridge the gaps - esp when
really important stuff is on the line. How well he
can resist Dem riders and such - which can be very
evil sometimes - is not yet clear.

Anyhow, we can't let the world go down in flames just
so MTG can have the joy of kicking some wetback in
the balls. Hyperpartisanship was safe for as along
as it was safe - now BOTH parties have to reign that
back a few notches in the Greater Interest. They
    won't like it, but .....

So the Democrats should let Republicans
mount another civil war, spend months in
a fight over another speaker nominee,
    meanwhile nothing gets done.

Is that your idea of a functioning House?

Fuck America. Thanks to Trump, owning the libs is all that matters.

I think America is a GOOD thing - it's why everybody
COMES here, because it's not like where they're
    RUNNING AWAY from.

As for "owning the libs" - Johnson doesn't "own" them,
he just manages to Get Along in certain needed areas.
Only a fanatic would see this as some kind of treason.

The world is MORE than just the USA ... and we've made
the mistake of believing otherwise more than once. We
cannot let the rest of the world go down in flames just
because MTG is obsessed with wetbacks or whatever. In
some of these matters the GOP will have to GO AROUND
    tunnel-vision nutters like her.

It's as good a time as any, if not long overdue. He's giving democrats
everything they want and pointless to have him remain. All democrats
have lined up behind him. That alone speaks volumes.

    Bingo.
The fact that democrats are backing Johnson is a very bad sign indeed.

For reasons I stated before, I will disagree with

Actually I don't take issue with that. In fact it's the only way government can actually accomplish

I don't agree in selling out the store to the other side though.
And putting up walls just to prevent the other side from passing legislation is plain wrong.

This is precisely why I am a centrist. I go left on some topics and right on others. It's also why
I am typically against radical, far left or far right candidates unless something is seriously gone

"It's" ? All western-ish societies are still run on
the Machiavelli model. This puts more power/wealth
in the hands of the few expert players. However this
need NOT be all so bad for Joe Average, indeed it
can be good. In pursuit of their own wealth, all
    boats CAN rise.

A respectably large 'middle class' is now proven to
    be a HUGE money-maker.

The good Machiavellian lets public will run free
as far as possible - only making invisible tweaks
    as-needed.

Now how well this model works out for Joe Average
varies. In the USA Joe does pretty well. In older
cultures, maybe not so well. Not all of the
behind-the-scenes people seem to understand that
    a wealthier/freer Joe makes THEM more money/power.
They seem to be stuck in the medieval model of
lords/peasants where their ego can be more
    important than their portfolio.
