This trend has been building for some time. Alas the
Covid debacle seems to have amplified the mindset,
"de-socialization" set in, badly.

Brits are stabbing each other in a rapidly-escalating
spiral. Sometimes it's one angry stabber, more often
it seems to be little youth gangs of stabbers. Does
not matter who you are, where you are, you can suddenly
be set upon by a knife gang.

The UK attempted to ban knives some time back. This is
totally impossible though. ANYthing can be a "knife" ;
from a screwdriver to random shard of metal or glass.
Proper steel knives have many many legit uses and are
ubiquitous. No banning knives - and 'enhanced penalties'
haven't done a thing.

So, YOU could be next. That group of "nice kids"
you pass in the street can leap on you any time
and leave you bleeding to death on the pavement.
Good luck getting NHS treatment .......

There's a viciousness of the soul, so to speak, that
has invaded the UK over the past decade or so. For
some odd reason I suspect it's what Sid Vicious was
talking about long back, the "No Future For You"
perspective/mindset. Once that takes hold, all
'civilization' crumbles. Hyenas and vultures come
to dominate and deep rot sets in.

Brits, indeed USAians too, see less and less of a
"future" these days. Best years well behind us.
Little hope of significant improvement or even
opportunities. The Chinese took your jobs (and
now there's "AI" to take many more) and the
'leaders' squandered your wealth on bird-brained
worthless/unsustainable schemes.

Western economies are now all deeply in the red ...
but the Bread And Circuses MUST be funded for
political reasons regardless. This will not, can
not, continue for much longer. The People seem to
SENSE this. "One For All" fades away and "Gimme
MINE - FUCK You !" takes over. Probably some
Darwinian angle in there, but genetics never
really contemplates high civilization - more
just "little tribes on the veldt".

Capitalism won't save you. Socialism won't save you.
Communism won't save you. Woke-ism won't save you.
Fascism won't save you. Rot, hopelessness, in the
collective soul cannot be solved except by eventual
disaster (and, maybe, possibly, a slow painful
rebirth). Oh, 'preppies', eating those gold coins
won't get you anywhere.

Yea, a real downer. "Positive" - probably won't
be fully manifest for maybe 50 years, barring
war with China or something similar. SOMEthing
might happen to intervene ... though I would
not hold out for the appearance of beneficent
little grey alien dudes.
