California voted sgsinst Don Fatso, so he took away a big chunk of
the mortgage interest tax deduction.
ctually that was the cap on SALT combined with interest in mortgages and it had nothing to do with
CA as NY and other overpriced inefficiently run states suffered as well.
Even though I live in a high cost, high tax state I do understand that the other changes made in
the tax code did benefit the majority of people.
Why shouldn't these people in well run, lower cost of living states be lumped into the same class
as out of control spending states like NY?
Those states need to straighten out their own messes instead of throwing money at the problems and
expecting the taxpayers to foot the bill.
