• massively OT: Goedel and the afterlife

From Burkhard@21:1/5 to All on Fri Jan 5 10:00:24 2024
While doing research for something else entirely (post-mortem privacy and the importance of letters as historical source, in case you wondered) I came across this article on Goedel's thoughts about the afterlife. As we had recently an entire threat on
this topic, and Goedel makes the occasional appearance on TO (mostly misunderstood interpretations of his incompleteness theorem as absolute limit of human knowledge, more rarely his formal proof of the existence of God - s/he/it is an ultrafilter, who
would have thought...) I thought I share it with you

I have a theorem (unpublished) that shows that is is impossible to
construct an off-topic post on TO.

You probably should have noted that in the margin.
