• Phantom downtime?

From jillery@21:1/5 to All on Mon Jan 16 11:40:47 2023
For those who keep track of such things, apparently Beagle suffered approximately 16 hours of downtime, somewhere between Sun, 15 Jan 2023
    11:39:48 (EST) and Mon, 16 Jan 2023 03:40:35 (EST).

Unlike most Beagle hiccups, which buffer posted text and post them
later, this one seems to have dropped several posts altogether, as
evidenced by the fact that posts after that time reply to posts
missing from ES and other servers. Not sure why some servers got
those posts while others did not.

After additional investigation, the downtime appears to be a fault not
of Beagle, but of ES, and ES dropped posts during that period.
