Of late, the 'DC' superhero franchise foolishly decided
to go full Woke ... they even tried to sell a kinda gay
Superman and 'Green Lantern' - an absolute sales disaster.
They have good, sellable, characters - but have tried
to politicize them far too much of late - imagining it
would appeal to "the youth".
It didn't.
Ya know, I think that these days harboring ANTI-Woke
sentiments is more the 'forbidden fruit' the young
people find so attractive. Ergo, not the first time,
"Woke = Broke" for corporations trying to suck up
to that idiotic sociopolitical extreme.
Rival "Marvel", on the other hand, kinda stuck to
the Capt. America point of view for its heroes and
themes. THEY are making good money, lots of fans.
I watched part of a "Stargirl" once ... not sure
how it stayed on the air. "Buffy" was a lot better.
