Contrast to what DeSantis said when the Big Hurricane
was closing in - he said to SHOOT any damned looters
and the State would have yer back. Guess what, no

There's a fundamental, serious, gap here in understanding
human nature both individually and collectively. Smart
conservatives know control must be maintained, as lightly
as possible but still maintained, or people will just
run riot. Doing right, being a good person, has to MEAN
something - and being the opposite needs to have certain
consequences. MAYbe the further left understands that too,
but it seems to WANT collapse, under the illusion
the huddled masses will have to obey THEM afterwards.
Nope, it'll be some new Napoleon, some hard-ass general,
some Idi Amin.
