    . . .

HBO host Bill Maher, a self-proclaimed “old-school liberal,”
is slamming progressive leaders of “woke” cities, including
New York City, accusing them of hypocrisy in complaining
about the influx of asylum seekers.

In his “Club Random” podcast on Sunday, Maher questions the
posturing of sanctuary cities, calling them out for welcoming
migrants but panicking when they actually arrive from overwhelmed
    border states.

“It’s just a good example of, ‘Could everybody just stop
the posturing?’” Maher said. “Don’t pretend that you love
migrants so much and then when [border states] send them to
you, you don’t like them. You know — you’re full of s*** and
we can see that,” Maher said.

“Yeah, you liked them when it wasn’t your problem because
you’re not a border state. And then when they show up in
Chicago, in New York, you’re like, ‘What the f***? What
are we going to do with these people?’”

    . . .

Well ... Reagan WAS a "liberal", until he figured it out.

I expect Maher to be *cancelled* soon - Whoopsie will
    condemn him as a "fascist".

That should complete The Lesson about the 'left' ...

That's highly unlikely. HBO gets good ratings for his show and he's a source of Internet
    buzz.

Inflation is already at Fed target.

It is below the long term historical average.

Unemployment remains low at under 4%.

Fed cuts have not pushed us into a recession.

Interest rates remain in historical low range.

    The housing market is hot.

    Manufacturing is hot.

Is manufacturing growing in the US?

"It was negative for nearly the entire range, reaching a minimum of -8% in late 2021
before increasing to become positive in September 2022. In November 2022 it was 0.26%.
