TWO competing commercials tonight ... both for
electric thingies that move your feet - one even
has a 'pedometer' to show how many 'steps' you've
done. Recline in yer Lay-z-Boy while the things
(barely) move your feet ! This is asserted to have
all kinds of great health benefits.
Well - NOT ! There are a mass of muscles in yer
legs - almost 50% of your muscle mass. These
devices expose them to NO effort, they can NOT
improve circulation or tone or ANYTHING. It's
just a convenient illusion - for $$$ - modern
tech snake-oil.
So WHY can these things be advertised as 'health'
aids ??? Just askin' ...
