I would imagine that "Rocket Scientists" would have to be more
intelligent as there's no gaming competence.

The tough part about being a doctor -- the really tough part -- is
getting the grades to get into medical school in the first place.
And the edge there goes to the game players -- the people who
drop classes that'll lower their GPA, or sweet talk/guilt professors
into giving them a grade they didn't earn.

It happens. It happens a lot.

No, they all are just a casual types who heat their chair a lot, so
they finish schools. But, what is important is how you are evolving, and
being involved in some non-natural process hinders your evolution as a
living being (I call this "intellectual prostitution", and, as a pretty
smart guy, I had this stance towards this since I was just a kid). You
do get a good job, you can survive, but in evolutionary terms it is a
pure waste of time. Alone in your room, when your biological clock tells
you that you need to go outside, is a schizoid thing, not good in
evolutionary terms. So, you can imagine that people who are doing this
to themselves aren't very smart. 50 % of gifted people in my country
don't pass through school system. They do have all the necessary skills,
and they could pass it with ease, yet, they go the other way, they go to
live their lives as "normal" people, this is the way you get
evolutionary benefit, to experience the real life, without the benefits
    of good payed job.
