• Help: Notaries Public in USA won't certify copies!

From abclegaldocs@gmail.com@21:1/5 to All on Sun Apr 8 08:39:50 2018
Only a few states authorize notaries to make certified copies. A Colorado notary may make a certified copy of an original document, but not a vital record (birth, death, marriage, divorce) or a public record (such as a real estate deed). The notary law
    is at CRS 12-55-120.

The document custodian of an original document may make a sworn statement (affidavit) regarding a copy, under penalty of perjury. See blog article at http://abclegaldocs.com/blog-Colorado-Notary/copy-certification-document-custodian/
