• Double Eagle today!

From Irving S@21:1/5 to All on Sun Mar 27 16:41:33 2022
    My first ever.

The 15th hole at my club, a short par 5 .

Driver was about 260 give or take. My Garmin told me 227 to the middle, gave it a go with my 3 wood, just perfect contact. I had no idea it went to the hole, when we walked up, I thought it was in one of the several traps to the rear of the hole. Ball
no where to be found. Got a little aggravated, thought the ball might be lost, just for the heck of it , I looked in the hole and there was my yellow Cally! We all went nuts to say the least.

Needless to say, we all had drinks at the 19th hole to celebrate, and i took my wife and son out for steaks. Happy as can be, never thought a double eagle was in the cards for me. I have had three hole in ones, yes I am amazed myself, but even
amazed at this accomplishment. Gonna make some kind of plaque with that ball.

OUTSTANDING! I wonder what the Fool will say to denigrate your amazing shot? Personally, I have had 4 aces (just about got another Friday).

Now the spinster knows that would be impossible, to provide proof. It goes on my word, could care less what this attention seeking lizard thinks..

One thing we do have proof of. The lizard went to the bank, took out money, and counted it on Youtube. He posted the video, it was hilarious. So maybe we have no proof that I got a double eagle, so be it, but we have proof that the fool is the ultmate
    tool.

Nah; its not too unusual to have such events get published in the tiny local newspaper/etc.
Likewise, if you're going to memorialize the event with the ball mounted on a plaque,
posting a photo of that shows that some effort (& expense) went into its creation.

My dear friend HH, here is the link which describes the whole money counting episode. Beyond embarassing in my book. And equally, beyond hilarious. What some will do for attention. I certainly have done my share of dumb things in my life, but never
like this. This is simply amazing, but as a wise man once said "consider the source"

    Wow. Congrats!

Low single digits here and have been playing golf for almost 20 years
without either a hole in one or an albatross (as we call a double eagle
    here).

Plenty of tap-in eagles but never this level of perfection. The quest

Nah; its not too unusual to have such events get published in the tiny local newspaper/etc.
Likewise, if you're going to memorialize the event with the ball mounted on a plaque,
posting a photo of that shows that some effort (& expense) went into its creation.

One thing we do have proof of. The lizard went to the bank, took out money, and
    counted it on Youtube.

Really? Got the YouTube link to substantiate?

My dear friend HH, here is the link which describes the whole money counting
    episode. …

    https://groups.google.com/g/rec.sport.golf/c/SqctsSUt00U/m/LzHDP-54AQAJ

Since those YouTube links don’t work … you’re saying you got nothing.

Plus you’ve skipped over the faked stills from troll “james” in the episode.

    That's not Irving's fault, dickhead.
But it is his fault for making the claim when he knows that he doesn't have the proof.

You are so blind, any chance you are Helen Keller reincarnated.

The proof has been presented. The goofball deleted the video, he know how he presented himself. The ultimate tool, that entertained many.

Deny it all you want, see if I care. We can pretend the videos were never made, whatever. The doofus knows they were made, you know they were made. Deny it all you want, play any game you want. Have at it!

Bottom line, I never saw anything so funny as this. A person who claims to be intelligent at a Mensa level, making a video as this. I have co- workers, friends and family to worry about, they would never let me forget if I did something so dumb. It
comes down to pride, presenting yourself in a certain way. What the hell would motivate ANYONE to count money on youtube and post it. And risking that video getting out for others to see. Reckless and silly, but we are dealing with an attention
    seeking doofus.

And Brian used to use the same strategy of "post-n-pull". Tom E & I have

If memory serves, it was because Brian posted a still photo of some cash; it was

    Whatever HH, whatever.

What is most hilarious about all this is grown adults, Photoshopping things, counting cash, whatever. I have no idea who Brian is, but if what you say is true, that is equally hilarious. Grown men wth a lot of time on their hands doing some really
silly stuff. I would expect that from teenagers, not middle aged men. Hilarious. I sure am not perfect, and have done like all of us some dumb things in my life, but never counting money on youtube, that is a bar that I never reached.

Now HH, why would I think about keeping a copy of some doofus counting money. LOL! Better things to clog up my hard drive with. If I copied every thing some of you morons have presented here, I would need ten hard drives. LOL!, the comedian you are.

Oh, and one more thing. If someone claims to hit a hole in one, well that is not attention seeking. This is supposed to be a golf group, in a golf group people share accomplishments. IF you get a hole in one, I would not mind in the least hearing
about it, how often do we get something like that. Great to share our golf accomplishments on a golf group. A golf group where sadly few play or at least want to talk about playimg.

Best wishes for a great weekend. We have the spring member/guest at my club Sat and Sun, so wish me luck. My partner is a 3 hcp, so maybe with his help we can place well, I will not post my results, because if I do well, would not dare want to be
accused of attention seeking, god forbid we share GOLF accomplishmens on a golf group. Check in next week, all the best to you and your family.

Best wishes for a great weekend. We have the spring member/guest at
my club Sat and Sun, so wish me luck. My partner is a 3 hcp, so
maybe with his help we can place well, I will not post my results,
because if I do well, would not dare want to be accused of attention seeking, god forbid we share GOLF accomplishmens on a golf group.
Check in next week, all the best to you and your family.

What you mean is you want to post unsubstantiated claims...

...but you realize you'll be called on it.

It is just so _convenient_ how he knows everything about the
money-counting saga of CSMA ... except for who started it.

Likewise, to have such concern over the "high cost" of disk storage,
despite how current HDD prices are under 2 cents per GB.

    And so on.
Gosh, couldn't be that they're who's begging for attention, eh? /s

Nah; its not too unusual to have such events get
published in the tiny local newspaper/etc. Likewise, if
you're going to memorialize the event with the ball
mounted on a plaque, posting a photo of that shows that
some effort (& expense) went into its creation.

One thing we do have proof of. The lizard went to the

Really? Got the YouTube link to substantiate?

My dear friend HH, here is the link which describes the

Since those YouTube links don’t work … you’re saying you got nothing. >>>>>>>>
Plus you’ve skipped over the faked stills from troll
    “james” in the episode.

    That's not Irving's fault, dickhead.

But it is his fault for making the claim when he knows that he
    doesn't have the proof.

You are so blind, any chance you are Helen Keller reincarnated.
Nah, merely evidence-based, and you don't have any.

    The proof has been presented.
And you didn't even think about grabbing a copy, just in case it
    was removed.

And Brian used to use the same strategy of "post-n-pull". Tom E & I
have done this at times too. So it wasn't like you should have been
so dumb to believe that Alan's was going to be permanently online.

Bottom line, I never saw anything so funny as this.
Yes, you do a good job at keeping us humored with how erratic your
    behaviors are.
What the hell would motivate ANYONE to count money on youtube and
    post it.
If memory serves, it was because Brian posted a still photo of some
cash; it was obvious therein that it wasn't really real, but a
Photoshop of just a few bills that had been repeatedly cloned. I'd
have to go see if I even bothered to keep a copy.
And risking that video getting out for others to see. Reckless
and silly, but we are dealing with an attention seeking doofus.
Oh, "attention" like that guy who was claiming to have hit a hole
in one .. right? Or "risk" as in the time that Brian displayed a
stack of cash w/illegal drugs too?

    -hh

    Whatever HH, whatever.

What is most hilarious about all this is grown adults, Photoshopping
things, counting cash, whatever. I have no idea who Brian is, but
if what you say is true, that is equally hilarious. Grown men wth a
lot of time on their hands doing some really silly stuff. I would
expect that from teenagers, not middle aged men. Hilarious. I sure
am not perfect, and have done like all of us some dumb things in my
life, but never counting money on youtube, that is a bar that I never
    reached.

Now HH, why would I think about keeping a copy of some doofus
counting money. LOL! Better things to clog up my hard drive with.
If I copied every thing some of you morons have presented here, I
would need ten hard drives. LOL!, the comedian you are.

Oh, and one more thing. If someone claims to hit a hole in one, well
that is not attention seeking. This is supposed to be a golf group,
in a golf group people share accomplishments. IF you get a hole in
one, I would not mind in the least hearing about it, how often do we
get something like that. Great to share our golf accomplishments on
a golf group. A golf group where sadly few play or at least want to
    talk about playimg.

It might be instructive to look at the number of threads he/she (/they?
Just what are his/her chosen pronouns?) starts just to try to get a rise
    out of me.

    LOLOL!

You doofus, did you actually believe I was concerned about "disk storage". LOL!

Being facitious my clown friend, wow, that was worth a laugh for sure. Great way to start the weekend.

Thanking you more than you can imagine.

The spring member-guest this weekend at my club. Wish me luck! Actually, just got back from the club, some serious range time was spent. It would do some of you liberal twits a lot of good to get out and play a few rounds.

All the best to you and your family. Have a WONDERFUL weekend, I sure will.

Oh, as far as the money counting saga goes, I could care less who started it or who was part of it. The fact it happened is hilarious. In my most stupid moments, I could not come up with a scheme so silly. Wow, what grown men do when they are bored
    and lonely.
