6-3, 6-1. Sinner is the Miami 2024 champion

My warm congratulations to Jannik Sinner,
to his coaching team and to the whole Italy!

Most of Novak's points are from the 3 months between FO and USO finals
so he could drop like a stone if his form has dipped. He has to defend
FO title, Wimbledon r/up, Cincinnati title, USO title. It seems
inevitable Sinner will rise to No.1 and Carlos has a reasonable chance
of getting there too if he has a very strong clay season. Atm it looks
like Sinner is most likely to finish yr no.1. He's just moving
amazingly well and fears no one, and shrugs off losses like v Carlos at
Indian Wells and back to business. Then again Carlos is certainly
capable of winning the next 3 slams lol so should be interesting. I
feel like Novak has 1 slam in him this year and USO will be his best bet
imo. He's at his best on hardcourts and has the experience to
capitalize on any lulls from Carlos/Sinner.
