Hi guys,
I searched the user manual over and over and the Internet too but drew
a blank. I guess everyone on here already knows this but it had me
stumped. I could not discover how to get the radio to do a CTCSS tone
search. I approached Icom UK and a great Icom UK guy called Geoff got
in touch and walked me through it. He confirmed that Icom had missed
it in the manual, so "sat down in front of the radio to figure it
out". (Thanks Geoff)
I had to long press the "VFO / MHz" button and rotate the channel
selector knob to "Tone". From there it was a brief press of the same
"VFO / MHz" button to initiate scanning.
I hope this helps someone searching for this on the Internet.
