John had his grand Rolls Royce re-painted with psychedelic designs and said some members of the public were outraged at him for it.
Paul did something similar to one of his basses, but he did it himself.
Anyone know the fate of either object? I think I remember the Rolls being auctioned off at some point but I don't know anything beyond that or if the purchaser painted over the psychedelia.
I would assume Paul had his bass refinished when the psychedelic phase was over but I don't know...
