What a sweet bell of joy rings
when a precious baby comes home
into our hearts.
And when the day comes that we find
in this child a friend,

Joy is an elusive butterfly...
seldom found in the places I search for it.
It usually comes
unanticipated, LORD...
wrapped up in small packages...
a word of encouragement...
a child's quick embrace...
laughter shared with a friend...
a shoulder to cry on...
a hand in the dark...
love warming my heart...
of such is the medly of life.
