‘Diamond,’ of pro-Trump duo Diamond and Silk, dies at 51

Hardaway’s cause of death has not been released. Trump, who called her death “really bad news for Republicans” in a Monday night post on his Truth Social platform, said it was “totally unexpected.”

Raised in the Tar Heel state, the two amassed a following of 347,000 subscribers on YouTube and leveraged their Internet stardom to land many network television appearances and regular roles at Fox News.

The network removed them from its list of contributors in 2020 after they came under fire for spreading false information about the pandemic and vaccines. The duo had falsely suggested the virus was man-made and that the rising death toll was a media
conspiracy to make the Trump administration look bad.

Twitter briefly locked their account for violating its coronavirus misinformation policy after they tweeted the baseless claim that “quarantining people inside of their houses for extended periods will make people sick.”

"Use of the term, an inversion of woodpecker, dates to the early 19th century. The Oxford English Dictionary traces the earliest printed use to an Alabama newspaper in 1835.[2] Peckerwood was in use in reference to white people by 1859; it often
suggested a white person who was rustic or poor.[2][3] The shortened form peck was in use in the same sense in the 1920s.[8] In African-American folklore during the 1920s, the woodpecker symbolically represented white people, in contrast to the blackbird
    that represented African-Americans.[3][6]"

That's based on the non-Southerner opinion that 'peckerwood' is a reversal of the word 'woodpecker' and means the same thing. That's nonsense but a somewhat understandable misapprehension given that non-Southerners typically don't have the same level of
rural exposure to woodpeckers, their habitat, and one of their favorite feeding locations: peckerwood- rotted bark with compromised structural integrity that makes it relatively easy to capture insects.

It's also a handy way of referring to someone suffering from brain rot and desiccation (which doesn't have racial vectors).

Look how much time I just spent educating you, peckerwood. Be honest about it- you had to do a Google search on the word 'peckerwood' when you saw it in my post, didn't you?

Hardaway’s cause of death has not been released. Trump, who called her death “really bad news for Republicans” in a Monday night post on his Truth Social platform, said it was “totally unexpected.”

Raised in the Tar Heel state, the two amassed a following of 347,000 subscribers on YouTube and leveraged their Internet stardom to land many network television appearances and regular roles at Fox News.

The network removed them from its list of contributors in 2020 after they came under fire for spreading false information about the pandemic and vaccines. The duo had falsely suggested the virus was man-made and that the rising death
toll was a media conspiracy to make the Trump administration look bad.

Twitter briefly locked their account for violating its coronavirus misinformation policy after they tweeted the baseless claim that “quarantining people inside of their houses for extended periods will make people sick.”

suggested a white person who was rustic or poor.[2][3] The shortened form peck was in use in the same sense in the 1920s.[8] In African-American folklore during the 1920s, the woodpecker symbolically represented white people, in contrast to the blackbird

That's based on the non-Southerner opinion that 'peckerwood' is a reversal of the word 'woodpecker' and means the same thing. That's nonsense but a somewhat understandable misapprehension given that non-Southerners typically don't have the same level

It's better to just google the word peckerwood and peruse the results to see the meaning as it is used in the...ahem....ENGLISH LANGUAGE! I think everyone here knows that riskytard just refuses to learn.

That's based on the non-Southerner opinion that 'peckerwood' is a reversal of the word 'woodpecker' and means the same thing. That's nonsense but a somewhat understandable misapprehension given that non-Southerners typically don't have the same level
of rural exposure to woodpeckers, their habitat, and one of their favorite feeding locations: peckerwood- rotted bark with compromised structural integrity that makes it relatively easy to capture insects.

^^ Pathological denial of reality. Pathological inability to admit he has been proved wrong yet again

It's also a handy way of referring to someone suffering from brain rot and desiccation (which doesn't have racial vectors).

Look how much time I just spent educating you, peckerwood. Be honest about it- you had to do a Google search on the word 'peckerwood' when you saw it in my post, didn't you?

Of course not. Unlike you, I am an educated person. You don't think I have ever heard "the Woods" and the woodpile in prison jargon? They come from the term peckerwood (i.e. poor whites). That just goes to show how naïve you are about the depth and
    breadth of my general knowledge.

I am not picking and choosing anything. I am selecting the ONE noun version of the word that is used as a slang insult, the way your new friend used it. You do understand what a NOUN is, don't you, Mr. Lawyer? There is NO definition there that matches
riskytard's claimed meaning of the word in any way, shape or form. You people will just endlessly deny obvious reality rather than simply admit you were wrong. It is a clear sign of low intelligence and a refusal to learn. Anyone can google the term "
peckerwood" and see the usage (as a noun/disparaging term) is exactly as I said in the first place.

We aren't talking about the meaning of the word "table," and I refuse to entertain your lame and desperate attempts to change the subject rather than simply admit I was right about the meaning of the pejorative term "peckerwood." It refers to poor
redneck whites (typically from the South). There is something seriously wrong with you people and your pathological refusal to learn and/or admit you were wrong. Your own dictionary definition that YOU chose proved I am right and you are wrong, yet you
    are STILL in denial.
