The Wall Street Journal, once a staunch supporter of Trump, had quite a lot to say about the work of the committee on Friday:

    https://www.wsj.com/articles/what-the-jan-6-inquiry-accomplished-donald-trump-liz-cheney-subpoena-congress-11665699321

Here's a few excerpts if you're unable to open the link:

    -----------
Getting direct evidence of Mr. Trump’s action—and inaction—was always going to be a challenge. There is no evidence so far that Mr. Trump was communicating or coordinating with the Proud Boys or other nefarious elements in the runup to Jan. 6. On
Thursday the committee played video of foolish talk by Roger Stone, another Trump flunkie who also took the Fifth. “I say f— the voting, let’s get right to the violence,” Mr. Stone said on Nov. 2, which was the day before the election.

What the committee has accomplished, however, is to cement the facts surrounding Mr. Trump’s recklessness after Nov. 3 and his dereliction of duty on Jan. 6. The Justice Department and Mr. Trump’s own campaign repeatedly told him that his fraud
claims were without basis. Whether it was willful blindness or an intentional strategy, he kept repeating them.
    .
    .
    .
The Jan. 6 committee probably won’t get Mr. Trump under oath, but the evidence of his bad behavior is now so convincing that political accountability hardly requires it.
    -------------------

The next shoe(s) to drop will probably be formal criminal indictments by the Department of Justice. It will be interesting to see what charges are actually brought, who will be chosen to lead the prosecution, and whether or not a plea deal is reached
    prior to the courtroom.

Actually Wayne, as much as you would like me to focus on the
comings and goings of President Trump, I have moved on and he is
in my rear view mirror. As you probably know the upcoming midterm
election is probably the most important election in the history
of the United States of America. If we continue on the path we
are on now, there might not be a United States of America in the
near future. In fact the whole World is in serious trouble. So if
you think states rights to deal with abortion and persecuting
Donald Trump are the two most important things to consider, then
feel free to do what ever you want, legally, of course.
