    Just got our power back after almost 19 hours.
    Halifax wasn't hit as bad as the eastern areas in the province.
    Did see a number of tree branches down taking out power lines, mast poles and damaging roofs etc.
    Sounds like PEI is still getting the tail end of the storm.
    BTW...PEI is the only island province in the Maritimes.
    Fyi another Atlantic province in is getting hammered too. Newfoundland is an Atlantic Canada province but not a Maritime province.

    It's there and it works!
    Most of those dykes were built well over 200 years ago by the French Acadians and still keep us connected.
