    This is the first time in my lifetime and maybe since Lincoln that the
    Secret Service has been called to testify against a protectee. In the
    past, through JFK's philandering, Nixon's misadventures, Clinton's
    problems and all of the presidential family scandals, the Secret
    Service has always said they had nothing to say about a protectee's
    activity.
    It does make some degree of sense if their job is to be a
    non-intrusive bodyguard that the protectee has to tolerate everywhere
    they go.

    Their job isn't to lie. They have a long history of doing that. How
    are they serving the nation by covering up for Trump?
