How many AR’s used in the 50+ shootings a weekend in Chicago ? Common element is crazy people. And / Or people who have given up on life. Look
what our education system and the government has done over the last 30 or

51 people shot in just in Chicago over the Memorial Day weekend. The common element? Not even *one* by an AR-15.

You make a good argument for toughening up all firearms laws and making
it much more difficult for everyone to get their hands on one. I agree.

High crime cities where the majority of the shootings take place. Another common element? Democrats in charge.

it much more difficult for everyone to get their hands on one. I agree.

I agree also. I don't think any particular rifle or handgun is really
the problem. If AR-15 types are banned and somehow the availability
of them becomes limited another type of rifle or handgun will become
the "weapon of choice" by those intent on mass shootings. To me, the
problem is much deeper and involved than any particular firearm. It's
a cultural problem to which those with mental health issues succumb.

I remember years ago some of the blame was attributed to modern
(and very realistic) video games. I think that is still a factor
as it has de-sensitized young minds to gory, bloody killings.

When I was a youngster I remember attending a meeting (think it
was in Cub Scouts) where the speaker discussed the proper use
and safety issues of BB guns. Ironically, the speaker was
a representative of the NRA, accompanied by the town police chief.

I am not going to dig too deep but Buffalo was a handgun, Navy Yard
was a shotgun, most of these "mass shootings" that are being hyped up
in the last 2 weeks were handguns and the guy in Norway used a bow and

    What's your point?

Do you think, if ARs were banned tomorrow, crazy people and criminals

How many people did you shoot with your AR?

You make a good argument for toughening up all firearms laws and making
it much more difficult for everyone to get their hands on one. I agree.

Since most of these "mass shootings" surround the drug trade, those
drugs are highly illegal (state federal and international) and they
have no problem getting all they want, do you think a law about guns
    will slow them down?

You are a poster child for someone who should not possess firearms. Couple >> bankruptcies, skipping payday loan payments. An all round loser. Next
time you need money, you may use your firearms.

As if I care about the opinions of a semi-literate right wing asshole

Semi literate? You seem to have graduated from a 2nd rate school, with a degree that seems to not be worth much. I also graduated university, but
with a science degree, that seems to have paid very well. Never having to
even consider bankruptcy, or payday loans. Seems as if my personal life
has also turned out better. Only one wife, and that is for 54 years. Illiterate, does not seem describe people with engineering degrees.

it much more difficult for everyone to get their hands on one.

Before the assault on the 2d amendment the NRA was the only real
promoter of gun safety in the US. I learned to shoot in an NRA BB gun
program when I was in grade school. In the 70s the NRA came to our IBM
location and trained a half dozen of us as instructors to assure the
Skeet League was a safe activity. (an IBM requirement)
It was when the whole shooting sport industry was under attack that
the NRA started the ILA and got involved in legislation. Without them
we might not have a 2d amendment or any shooting sports at all. There
are still a lot of people who would ban guns entirely.

    family of grifters. *

Are you sticking to that story? What cop would be that stupid?

A few years ago, shit-for-brains, I sold a revolver to an active duty cop.
Are you under the delusion that cops don’t buy firearms?

I wonder if any of yours found its way to one of those?

I sold mine to a retired cop, shit-for-brains.

None of them ever got in trouble for shooting anyone ;-)

I have no idea, but the transfer went through an FFL. It's their job to
    check NICS, not mine.

So did all of those ARs in your rant, what's your point?

All of those shooters passed the background check and went through an
    FFL.

    Obviously, NICS isn’t tough enough.

That is the "universal background check" everyone on the left is
    clamoring for.
How intrusive would you make it?

Isn't there already a universal background check? I would imagine
there would be a lot less strife if elected and appointed public
servants would just do their jobs.

You make a good argument for toughening up all firearms laws and making
it much more difficult for everyone to get their hands on one. I agree.

I agree also. I don't think any particular rifle or handgun is really
the problem. If AR-15 types are banned and somehow the availability
of them becomes limited another type of rifle or handgun will become
the "weapon of choice" by those intent on mass shootings. To me, the >>problem is much deeper and involved than any particular firearm. It's
a cultural problem to which those with mental health issues succumb.

Before the assault on the 2d amendment the NRA was the only real
promoter of gun safety in the US. I learned to shoot in an NRA BB gun
program when I was in grade school. In the 70s the NRA came to our IBM >location and trained a half dozen of us as instructors to assure the
Skeet League was a safe activity. (an IBM requirement)
It was when the whole shooting sport industry was under attack that
the NRA started the ILA and got involved in legislation. Without them
we might not have a 2d amendment or any shooting sports at all. There
are still a lot of people who would ban guns entirely.

    You're an insult to humanity.
