This may sound stupid, but it happened to me.To Bsmith: So, you were able to cure the hydrolock situation and the water entering into the cylinders and getting into the oil by replacing the starter? Just trying to understand what you're saying. I replaced the starter and the first trip out,
Have you changed your replaced your starter recently. I was given the wrong starter and it was spinning the engine the wrong way and hydrolocked the engine. It took me at least a full day to figure this one out. Because the starter that was replaced was having trouble spinning the engine just like the
new one.
Just a thought.
