• For the pro-abortion crowd

From John H@21:1/5 to All on Thu May 19 07:49:13 2022
    I have three questions:

Did you have kids in wedlock?

Did your wife ever ask you to feel the baby kicking?

Did you tell her it wasn't a baby, just a fetus?

If the first two answers are 'yes', and the last is 'no', then there's
    some big-time hypocrisy being shown!

Going glamping to Natural Bridge, VA. Will be back Sunday PM. Can't
    wait to see the answers.

Where do those women’s rights end? At 3 months of pregnancy? At 6
months? At 12 months? At 2 years? So when does the right to kill the kid end? She has a right to not get pregnant these day. Pills, mechanical
rings, injectable stuff, morning after pill.

    OK
Then by definition the unwanted pregnancies are among the most

I am all for legal abortion in the first trimester. Free! We give lots of welfare out, this will be a lot cheaper. Just don’t claim it is a woman’s right. You had the right not to get pregnant. But once there, you just
gave up some rights. Just like you don’t have the right to kill your kid after it is born. Fact is, a nurse got the rules changed years ago, about letting a newborn die that was not really a viable human.

Why isn't it a right for a woman to control something inside her own
body? If men had the babies we wouldn't even be having this
    conversation.

The whole late term thing is a red herring, just thrown out there for
the shock value. Women are not carrying a baby for 7-8 months just to
abort it. These are virtually all medical necessities BY LAW. Roe only
    protects early term abortions.

I don’t think Roe specifies a time frame.

They do write this stuff down
    Roe v Wade text
"(a) For the stage prior to approximately the end of the first
trimester, the abortion decision and its effectuation must be left to
the medical judgment of the pregnant woman's attending physician." Pp.
    163, 164.

"(b) For the stage subsequent to approximately the end of the first
trimester, the State, in promoting its interest in the health of the
mother, may, if it chooses, regulate the abortion procedure in ways
that are reasonably related to maternal health." Pp. 163, 164.

"(c) For the stage subsequent to viability the State, in promoting its
interest in the potentiality of human life, may, if it chooses,
regulate, and even proscribe, abortion except where necessary, in
appropriate medical judgment, for the preservation of the life or
health of the mother". Pp. 163-164; 164-165. https://supreme.justia.com/cases/federal/us/410/113/

Nowhere in Roe does it say a healthy mom can kill a healthy fetus
after "viability" no matter what those TV preachers tell you.
That is just hyperbolic bullshit to enrage people.
I really think people who think Roe was so awful, never actually knew
    what it said.

I do agree with Scalia that Roe is flawed law but that is not an
abortion thing. it is a Constitutional thing.
I also think laws like they passed in Texas are flawed. They are using
tort law and ambulance chasing lawyers to create intrusions on rights
that the Constitution will not let legislators do.
That is a slippery slope that can affect all sorts of things.
Gun control people are already lining up to make this end run around
McDonald and Heller. It will come to a head if NY Rifle and Pistol
Assn prevails in NY. .Sullivan might fall. Then expect tort law to
    raise it's ugly head.

your bullshit comments. Not Roe. I don't know what Roe does or doesn't

"A new report released by the Centers for Disease Control and
Prevention (CDC) reveals that in 2018, an estimated 50,000 abortions
were committed at 14 weeks or later, with nearly 6,200 of those
committed at or over 21 weeks — the point at which some premature
babies have survived with assistance. The report also showed that the
number of later abortions increased by four percent from just two
years prior (2016). In 2017, the Guttmacher Institute, which publishes
more comprehensive abortion totals, reported an estimated 100,000
    later abortions that year."

That's a lot of dead babies.

I don't know anyone who is pro-abortion. I do know a lot of people who
    are pro-women's rights however.

Where do those women’s rights end? At 3 months of pregnancy? At 6 >>>>>>> months? At 12 months? At 2 years? So when does the right to kill the kid
end? She has a right to not get pregnant these day. Pills, mechanical >>>>>>> rings, injectable stuff, morning after pill.

    OK
Then by definition the unwanted pregnancies are among the most
irresponsible people in society. Do we really want them trying to
raise children that we will end up paying for?

I am all for legal abortion in the first trimester. Free! We give lots of
welfare out, this will be a lot cheaper. Just don’t claim it is a woman’s
right. You had the right not to get pregnant. But once there, you just >>>>>gave up some rights. Just like you don’t have the right to kill your kid
after it is born. Fact is, a nurse got the rules changed years ago, about
letting a newborn die that was not really a viable human.

Why isn't it a right for a woman to control something inside her own >>>>body? If men had the babies we wouldn't even be having this >>>>conversation.

The whole late term thing is a red herring, just thrown out there for >>>>the shock value. Women are not carrying a baby for 7-8 months just to >>>>abort it. These are virtually all medical necessities BY LAW. Roe only >>>>protects early term abortions.

Who represents the baby? Red herring my ass. Your continuous use of
the phrase is a 'red herring'.

What "baby". You mean the unborn fetus?

"It's just an unborn fetus kicking, dear!"

It belongs to the person carrying it.

BTW you dodged the point that Roe only protected early term abortions >>because you keep spouting "bullshit" (better?) about the very rare
late term abortion that is illegal virtually everywhere without a
medical necessity designated by the doctor.

I have not been discussing Roe. My "bullshit" comments have to do with
your bullshit comments. Not Roe. I don't know what Roe does or doesn't >protect, and don't give a shit.

How many dead moms did it prevent?

You are still tossing around abortions that are already illegal in
most states if they are NOT medically indicated.

You don't think a woman has any rights about things that go in inside
her own body. I accept that as your right to feel that way but when
your prejudice infringes on other people, you are out of your lane.

I am all for legal abortion in the first trimester. Free! We give lots of
welfare out, this will be a lot cheaper. Just don’t claim it is a woman’s
right. You had the right not to get pregnant. But once there, you just
gave up some rights. Just like you don’t have the right to kill your kid
after it is born. Fact is, a nurse got the rules changed years ago, about
letting a newborn die that was not really a viable human.

Who represents the baby? Red herring my ass. Your continuous use of >> >>>>>the phrase is a 'red herring'.

What "baby". You mean the unborn fetus?

"It's just an unborn fetus kicking, dear!"

It belongs to the person carrying it.

BTW you dodged the point that Roe only protected early term abortions >> >>>>because you keep spouting "bullshit" (better?) about the very rare
late term abortion that is illegal virtually everywhere without a
medical necessity designated by the doctor.

I have not been discussing Roe. My "bullshit" comments have to do with >> >>>your bullshit comments. Not Roe. I don't know what Roe does or doesn't >> >>>protect, and don't give a shit.

"A new report released by the Centers for Disease Control and
Prevention (CDC) reveals that in 2018, an estimated 50,000 abortions >> >>>were committed at 14 weeks or later, with nearly 6,200 of those
committed at or over 21 weeks — the point at which some premature
babies have survived with assistance. The report also showed that the >> >>>number of later abortions increased by four percent from just two
years prior (2016). In 2017, the Guttmacher Institute, which publishes >> >>>more comprehensive abortion totals, reported an estimated 100,000
    later abortions that year."

That's a lot of dead babies.

How many dead moms did it prevent?

You are still tossing around abortions that are already illegal in
most states if they are NOT medically indicated.

You don't think a woman has any rights about things that go in inside >> >>her own body. I accept that as your right to feel that way but when
your prejudice infringes on other people, you are out of your lane.

That's a lot of dead babies.

How many dead moms did it prevent?

You are still tossing around abortions that are already illegal in >>>>>>>>>> most states if they are NOT medically indicated.

You don't think a woman has any rights about things that go in inside
her own body. I accept that as your right to feel that way but when >>>>>>>>>> your prejudice infringes on other people, you are out of your lane. >>>>>>>>>
I promise not to cum on your face again!
Promises promises. Besides, I like it.

    Control yourself Johnny.
    This is a family newsgroup.
    How stupid are you, Donnie?

Do you play here with your grandkids?

Not quite stupid enough to throw myself off ladders, landing on my head. >>>>> How about y'all? SNERK!
Stupid enough to respond to an impersonator, dummy!

Just wondering....does calling other posters names make y'all feel better about yourself?

Where did he call you a name? Stating a fact, is not name calling.

Well, you're right! As usual. Oh, you're a cocksucking little prick,
    and thems facts.

You describe yourself well, Mr. Roomba.
