The guy just doesn't know when to keep his mouth shut. I don't
disagree that Putin is damn smart, but Trump just keeps shooting
himself in the foot with his comments.

I do like his comment about the Mexican border though!

Funny, but when I first learned that Putin had declared the two eastern sections of Ukraine as being "independent", I had the same reaction that
Trump expressed. It *was* smart ... in terms of a strategy. Those
regions are populated with pro-Russians and have been fighting Ukraine's military for over 8 years.

This certainly doesn't mean Trump *supports* Putin's actions. It just
means it was a clever move.

Had a major debate last night with my wife and daughter who are both
Trump supporters and have very hawkish views on what is going on.

Without saying Putin is justified in killing people, I made the point
to them that I can understand why he is taking action.

From the end of WWII until the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991,
there were 16 NATO nations. Since 1991 that number has grown to 30
with Sweden and Finland likely to j
oin in the near future. Many of
the new NATO members are former Soviet controlled countries that are
on the Russian border. Putin and Russia are feeling squeezed and
    threatened.

This certainly doesn't justify Putin's recent actions but I am
simply acknowledging that I can understand why. If China or
Russia took over a major part of Canada or Mexico, I don't think
the USA would just sit idly by.

This all may have been avoided if the USA and European NATO members
agreed not to admit Ukraine to NATO membership .... as least for
some period of time during the negotiations over the past year.

Instead, the USA and Europe said "NO".

though!Funny, but when I first learned that Putin had declared the two easternsections of Ukraine as being "independent", I had the same reaction thatTrump expressed. It *was* smart ... in terms of a strategy. Those regions are populated with pro-
Russians and have been fighting Ukraine'smilitary for over 8 years. This certainly doesn't mean Trump *supports* Putin's actions. It justmeans it was a clever move.Had a major debate last night with my wife and daughter who are bothTrump
supporters and have very hawkish views on what is going on.Without saying Putin is justified in killing people, I made the pointto them that I can understand why he is taking action. From the end of WWII until the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991,
there were 16 NATO nations. Since 1991 that number has grown to 30with Sweden and Finland likely to join in the near future. Many ofthe new NATO members are former Soviet controlled countries that areon the Russian border. Putin and Russia are feeling
squeezed andthreatened. This certainly doesn't justify Putin's recent actions but I amsimply acknowledging that I can understand why. If China orRussia took over a major part of Canada or Mexico, I don't thinkthe USA would just sit idly by.This all may
have been avoided if the USA and European NATO membersagreed not to admit Ukraine to NATO membership .... as least forsome period of time during the negotiations over the past year.Instead, the USA and Europe said "NO".-- This email

How about if we understand why Putin is doing it but condemn him
for doing it.? The resolve of the Ukrainan poeple is something to
be admired. We need to support them any way we can without
starting WW3. Biden needs to put aside his vendetta against all
things Trump and do what's right for America. Man up and turn on
    the oil spigot.

That is what Trump should have done. Can't understand why Biden is
    doing this either:

"There is a glaring carve-out in President Joe Biden’s sanctions
against Russia: Oil and natural gas from that country will continue to
flow freely to the rest of the world and money will keep flowing into
    Russia."

In the meantime he does all he can to reduce production in this
country. The guy's a fucking dolt.

Don't disagree at all. Biden is proving to be the most incompetent
ignoramus ever to be in the Oval Office. Hopefully we can survive
    until 2024.

Don't disagree at all. Biden is proving to be the most incompetent
ignoramus ever to be in the Oval Office. Hopefully we can survive
    until 2024.
Did I tell you I"m no longer in the RC airplane business? We got run
off the county school property, and the next closest place to fly was
    about 45 minutes away.

Donated all my stuff to a flying club for soldiers at Walter Reed.
    They fly up in Maryland.

    Bailed out on another hobby?
    Remember your guitar lessons?
Pretty soon the motorcycle will be on the block along with your camper.

Yup. Yup. And, I gave the motorcycle to my SIL.

But, (and this is important for you to remember) we still have three
toilets, so you are frequently thought of. :)

How about if we understand why Putin is doing it but condemn him
for doing it.? The resolve of the Ukrainan poeple is something to

That is what Trump should have done. Can't understand why Biden is

    SNERK!
Y'all are a silly old woman. I've never had a rivit pop on any boat I've owned. In fact, the Legend Bow Rider and my current RIB are welded. Even the Princraft Yukon open boat I bought from Capt Tom Francis was just like new and in perfect shape.

What's that phrase y'all like down there...."tell it like it is"?
Anyway, I complained about galvanic corrosion where the stainless steel canopy snaps were screwed in the aluminium with paint in between. This caused the paint to bubble.
Didn't they teach y'all anything in the navee? Sad, bigly.

For Donnie it was one crappy boat after another. Do you remember
your salesman telling you the rivets keep popping because you
ocasionally put the boat in water.

Bayliner is gone?  You lost a hell of a lot of money in depreciation
over stupid purchases based on what a salesman told you.  We have laws
that protect our senior citizens here against financial exploitation.

Biden is proving to be the most incompetent >ignoramus ever to be in the Oval Office. Hopefully we can survive
    until 2024.
Did I tell you I"m no longer in the RC airplane business? We got run
off the county school property, and the next closest place to fly was
    about 45 minutes away.

Donated all my stuff to a flying club for soldiers at Walter Reed.
    They fly up in Maryland.

    good on you, John!
