That might work for a mom and pop "shop and rob" but a supermarket
gets supplied by 18 wheelers. Besides, they are all teamsters. When I
drove the 2.5 ton, I was in local 639.
You really can't compare the Americas to Europe anyway. Towns are
described as being 2 megatons apart in Europe. We are more spread out
here with far less rail per square mile. Building a new rail road is
going to be real hard to do in most places. The people who want them,
don't want them near their house. The people who have them near their
house what them gone. They have systematically destroyed the only rail
road here because rich people built houses near the tracks then got
them abandoned. I haven't put a penny on the track but the rust tells
me that train hasn't been south of Ft Myers in years. It used to go to
North Naples twice a day at least.
