Black history is American History. Full of mistakes and errors but finally getting it correct. The Irish were sold into slavery as well. The Japanese Americans were put in concentration camps. How DARE these white SOB's try to tell us that there should
be one month set aside to "honor" one group of Americans over another!

Actaully, this is white _79_year_old_heterosexual_male month and
that's how I'm going to celebrate it.

I think next month is ride_a_trike_up_and_back_on_bike_trail month.

With all due respect, I don't think the American discrimination against
Italians, Poles, Jews etc. comes close to what Blacks have endured.

Black Americans endured about 250 years of legal slavery, about 100
years of severe legal discrimination via Jim Crow laws, and less than 60
years of supposed equality - although even that has been tainted with
    heavy discrimination.

As just one example, Italian-American GIs returning from World War II
were able to get lots of VA assistance that was practically denied to
    Black GIs.

Before the blacks, the Irish were sold on the auction blocks as slaves. It was simply easier to tell a black from a white and it was YOUR Democrat Party that denied veterans benefits to black soldiers and airmen. There wasn't a SINGLE white soldier
that complained about black reinforcements. I can tell you that there wasn't ANY Army Air Force bomber crews that complained at all about the Red Tails - black P51 fighter escorts over Germany. Returning to a Democrat run US was the reason that blacks
returnd to descrimination. And it was the PEOPLE who ended that descimination and not the government ruled over by Lyndon Johnson who was racist to the core.

Eisenhower desegregated the military but he rapidly grew sick and tired of the uselessness of a government bought and paid for. And his speech on leaving office warned the people of this country who paid him too little heed when he warned us of people
    like you.

Truman desegregated the War Department and then replaced it
    with the 'Defense Dept'.

Exactly what I said above, the whole affair is a celebration, not to mention a confirmation, of victimhood, bestowed by leftwing fools like Krygowski who is so stupid, he believes it is the good and right thing to do. Krygowski wouldn't know merit if
he fell over it, so he feels no urge to celebrate it.

Back when Dr Martin Luther King, Jr was still alive, my thesis advisor let e spend, among other more scholarly periods under leading teachers at several universities, six months travelling across America on the Greyhound, and back again. One of the
things I noted was the effort black people made to conform to the mores of bourgeois society that they aspired to rise into, that even poor black people were well dressed and well spoken. When I used to fly my recording company scout chum around the
South on a Sunday, visiting several churches, we were often invited to lunch in their homes. These people weren't victims, they were strong families with steady jobs, working hard, saving to send their children to college. Johnston's great society broke
the black family, which is the root of ethnic group progress. Johnson is truly the father of the dangerous ghetto, and of American racism. But get some smug, self-righteous leftie like Krygowski to admit it!

    Andre Jute
I never met a Democrat who felt in the least guilty about what they have done to black people: Slavery, Jim Crow, the Great Society, and the modern American Apartheid. Krygowski's hypocrisies are but a small, arid example.

Nor have I. They always blame it on the people that freed the slaves. I have even heared Democrats say that the Party beliefs between Republican and Demoicrat switched 180 degrees with the election of Lyndon Johnson, perhaps the most racist President
    to ever hold office.

'Most racist' is a high bar with some stiff competition.
