I put the Land Shark up for sale and it lasted 20 minutes. So I decided

How large a cassette cog will a 10 speed short cage Dura Ace handle?
Couldn’t see it on Shimano site, but seems to suggest 28t max though apparently Shimano are notoriously conservative.
I’m vaguely toying with a new rear mech (GRX) as that would allow 10s MTB cassette use, though would only be a two tooth jump, plus a clutch.

I just took the Land Shark in for boxing and shipping and the shop guy said that the Shimano 10 speed shot arm is rated for 28 but that you can squeeze a 30 into it but it doesn't shift well.
