For whatever it's worth, a claim about urination.
How does a Formula 1 pilot urinate whilst racing?
Historically they used to just let loose in the car as there was no time
to stop. This led to teams continually losing good crew members who
stated they signed up to work on race cars, not clean up another man’s urine.
This lead to teams developing a catheter system for the driver in the
early 2000’s. The suit has a built in catheter that the driver installs
and then the suit has a hookup to a reservoir in the car.
When the reservoir gets full, there is a discharge system that sprays it
into the exhaust. The heat of the exhaust instantly vaporizes the urine. It’s had little to no impact on the race with only a few drivers
mentioning an unpleasant smell from the car in front of them.
