• Andretti/FOM, a possible scenario?

From Sir Tim@21:1/5 to All on Fri Oct 6 21:36:38 2023
With his son seemingly falling apart psychologically is it possible that
Papa Stroll might decide to sell AM and move on? In which case might not Andretti Cadillac be interested, thus solving the eleventh team problem?

    Plausible or fantasy?

This is F1 - it's entirely possible it could be both.

I imagine the issue will be Andretti will have plans for their own
development route - including suppliers and design team - which they'd
have to tear up if they took over AM...or go through a lengthy process
to (effectively) wind-up the existing arrangements (potential legal and financial hurdles) in order to get to the position where they held the
name but the overall team was their preferred configuration.

As you say, anything's possible in F1.

    Completely plausible.

For all we know, dad's public objections are intended to create this
    outcome.
