I'm posting this in advance to avoid claims of cheating and so on...

I'd like to make it clear that I'm not as strict on deadlines ahead of
the first race. Frankly, there's so much sandbagging that the first few
races are a crapshoot so anyone who thinks that Free Practice gives any
massive insight above and beyond what we know right now is likely
deluded and I think completely losing out on a round because you are a
few minutes or even hours late is a bit harsh and takes away from the entertainment of the pool for the season.

If anyone wants to challenge that, feel free and I'll take the majority
view from the group - it's not my competition.

Considering I was not even paying attention and only realized the season started this weekend at the last minute, I don't think there should be any complaints around first race deadlines.

I too appreciate how your work in running this thing so would even think to winge (is that the "correct" spelling???).

Thank you again for making this happen.

Mark, I managed to miss this completely - the start of season snuck up
on me and I didn't post an entry. Would it be fair to carry throgh as
default my entry from last race even though it was last season?

    That entry was:

    Pole position: VER

    P1: HAM
    P2: RUS
    P3: PER

If you think it would be fairer to ignore my pole entry as qualy is
over, that's fine, but maybe let race entry stand?
