• UAW slams Joe

From ScottW@21:1/5 to All on Wed Aug 9 14:48:32 2023
“We’re not going to give Biden credit for helping out in Lordstown if the jobs at Ultium remain poverty-level,” Fain told the Post. Fain also called for Biden to get “a hell of a lot more vocal” over the wages that Ultium workers receive,
claiming that they receive half of what the former GM plant received nearby.

Perhaps the UAW might want to consider how likely they'll be successful at raising wages at plants like Fords when they're losing 60K$ on ever EV they build? Hard to squeeze more blood out of a dying turnip.

It's good you want the UAW to run Ford's manufacturing. And that dying
turnip is healthy enough for some really big executive compensation.

Cuz he's the guy who decided to keep building IC cars and trucks that actually sell and kept
EV losses down by outsourcing to non-UAW subs.

Ford doesn't make IC cars anymore, except the Mustang and that's hanging
    on by a thread:

Not to worry: plenty of IC SUVs, trucks and crossovers. If they do
actually make so much money, Ford can pay its workers.

I owned a Turnip once, but it was an AMC.

I later traded her in a for a new model.
