Abbott signed the bill.
Under the legislation, doctors are prohibited from performing mastectomies or surgeries that sterilize minors, or remove healthy tissue or body parts. Additionally, they are barred from prescribing drugs that induce temporary or permanent infertility.
And this is the right thing to do. The risk is to great to indulge the needs of so few. The medical industry standard should really be to hold off on all this until age 25.
