Not at all. Witter was probably one of the best recasts in soap
history, when you consider the shoes she had to fill. KW's
Tina was a good argument against pretending to kill off
popular characters for the sake of leaving a door open for
    an actor to return.

So much of OLTL's story centered on Tina. Everyone was disappointed that Andrea Evans (thank you - we love you!) left the role, and later shocked and saddened for the reasons why she had to exit. Moving past that...

Soap Opera Digest, the very magazine that Hinsey worked for, in its Best & Worst of 1990 special edition, named Witter "Best Recast" of that year - and wrote a glowing review of her work & her success in taking over what was thought to be an "un-recast-
    able" role.

Carolyn's embarrassingly ignorant, unnecessarily negative comments to Rauch say more about herself than they do anyone else.

the Kristina-Parker and Kristina-Valerie storylines were the greatest in
GH history, but the show suddenly panicked and went back into a 1970s
    closet. WHY?

and it sent Kristina's actress packing after at least a decade of playing
    her. WHY? bring her back!

    bring back #kristinaparker!!!!!!
