Despite mockery of this prediction, it turns out I was actually a
bit too *conservative.* DLR is now scheduled to reopen on April 30:

    Including indoor rides.

Orange County is currently in the Red tier of California COVID-19
restrictions, so unless something horrible happens, it will be in
the Orange tier soon and could even reach Yellow by the end of April.
In Orange, theme parks are allowed to operate at 25% capacity. In
Yellow, they can go to 35%.

    California "Blueprint":

    ***ORANGE***
    Smaller Parks Open
    • 25% capacity or 500 people, whichever is fewer
    • Outdoor attractions only
    • In-county visitors only
    • Advanced reservations only

    ***YELLOW***
    Larger Parks Open
    • 25% capacity
    • Advanced reservations only

For the Orange tier, they have to have less than 5% positive test rates,
    and for Yellow, less than 2% (that's a 7-day average). Today's
statewide average is 1.8%, so they should be in Yellow, but it is by
county,so I am not sure where Orange sits right now. I believe the
governor has not taken them out of "purple" yet.

I don't know how I would get a Free test in my area. You'd expect that the government would want to test a wide swath of people for accuracy.
But I live in a crooked GOP county of Illinois. Go figure.
