    After pervading generations of girlhood, an exquisitely dreamy
    doll-person gets a makeover of her soul. BARBIE is a smart, exuberant, relentless fantasy that's captured America's attention. And, as such,
    it should perhaps be seen by even superannuated, backwards males who are
    likely to find it all somewhat alien ...as I did. Mostly recommended.

    What is so smart about male hatred and wokeism?
    Why not do a movie about Barbie that reflects the true image? A gold-digger with no net value of her own?

    I didn't remember a thread, and will look for it. Meanwhile, what the
    above blurb says (mainly) is how I felt about the movie. In particular,
    it's not so much meant as a commentary for those who've already seen it.
