In London of the '50s, a businessman's proper and narrow existence is unexpectedly sent awry. LIVING is an acknowledged remake of the
Kurosawa classic IKIRU, though screenwriter Katsuo Ishiguro claims not
to have re-consulted the original. Regardless, this production emits
talent from every pore ...not least from its lead, Bill Nighy, who
instantly makes you forget you're watching a movie. Well recommended.
