"The Old Way" is promoted as Nicholas Cage's
first western. Well I like Westerns and Cage can
be a pretty good actor so I knew I was going to see it.
It's a revenge Western coupled with True Grit. Cage and his
little 12 year old daughter set out on a revenge mission.
It's not a terrible film, Cage was OK and the little girl was
really pretty good.
But, at least in my opinion, it lacked that sharpe edged gritty
action and it just seemed like they could have done more with
that story line.
