It’s the sequel to KNIVES OUT with Daniel Craig again playing the worlds greatest detective, Benoit Blanc. It was clever enough to keep me guessing
and just preposterous enough to keep me entertained. Reminiscent of Agatha Christie’s TEN LITTLE INDIANS. Sure, watch it, why not?

I can’t be specific without spoiling things, so I’ll just say I consider the similarities between the two stories to be only superficial. There’s mystery, there’s a group of people isolated on an island, death is
involved, and I think that’s about it as far as similarities go.

My rating, too, was somewhere around "Sure, why not?", but I was irked
by that one clear rip-off (involving the fate of Andi) ...probably a bit
more than I was in admiration of anything else. Also I was little
unsure of what part of the South Daniel Craig's from ...South Baltimore?

Your “clear” rip off flew right over my head, but now that you poilnt it out I agree that yes there is a broad similarity. And you can also say the movie ripped off William Faulkner because it withheld vital information
from the audience. And I can think of at least one but probably more than
one Shakespeare it play it ripped off, again with Andi. But I do not agree
that any of this constitutes actual plagiarism. And so it goes.

As for the accent, I think it deserved separate billing.

What, you were trying to place the accent and drawing a Blanc?
