    mary walks
    to the waters edge
    to pray
    a prayer
    that keeps her in vancouver

    mary walks
    and sees herself
    not age
    she holds her young child's hand

    and remembers
    jesus
    the jesus and mary chain
    it is always locked
    but why would it stop

    i'm trying to understand this
    before it is too late
    there is still time
    before joeseph comes into

    me building things
    but was i an architect
