    she opens a can of coors lite
    another B in her high school class
    after the show
    she shouldn't but
    her friends say

    lets delight

    it's right but her date didn't show
    and she's at the bridge
    with red streaks in her
    hair
    she crosses
    and gets in her fathers fishing boat

    lets delight

    it takes until 1
    to remember
    he still has a gun
    and she shouldn't finish
    the stuff
    and has a voodoos donut
    they talk about the amy grant show

    lets delight

    it's her 16th birthday
    and they drive home to Vancouver
    she doesn't know yet what's wrong with her
    she'll never care what's wrong with her

    lets delight
    lets sleep tonight
