Circulation: 10,000 copies per month, every month, for nearly twenty
years.
That's the distribution method for such an arts paper, yes.
Creative Loafing seems to be one of the models for such a
publication....
Creative Loafing was definitely a local inspiration for Playgrounds
Magazine, yes., Rex.
It was a better success I suppose....
In a major way, yes.....

As with any publication, we have no control over where these thousands of copies circulate to.

Again, who here can top that?
Anyone who's had one poem published in a small press/indie *poetry* zine with a circulation of 100 copies.
Again, you flatter yourself, and you glorify your small press days. I was involved in small press myself, and edited a poetry and art zine for years (which was listed in Poet's Market during the mid-1990s), so I know that scene well, also.
My poetry and column was published monthly at 10,000 copies per issue for nearly twenty years.
In other words, I topped your lifetime circulation in one month.
If you had 10K monthly readers
you'd be more successful, and better known, than Bukowski.
Mickey Rourke would have played you in a movie (or, perhaps Avery Schreiber).
