• Brett Cooper is Out at The Daily Wire

From BTR1701@21:1/5 to All on Wed Dec 11 04:03:49 2024
Brett Cooper announced today that she has done her last show at the Daily Wire and someone else will be taking over her podcast The Comments Section.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xWogUZ5sNJM

There were rumors she was fired but she denies it, as does the CEO of the company. And why would they fire her? She's their second highest-rated commodity behind Matt Walsh.

Speculation is that given her recent marriage and stated desire to have lots
of children as fast as possible, she may be pregnant, and that's the reason
she turned over her show to someone else.

    Double posting again I see.

I don't see why she would quit or need to quit if she was pregnant.
Doing a podcast is one job where a woman should be able to do it while
pregnant up until she is ready to give birth (barring no medical complications.) It's not exactly the most strenuous of work.

I heard she'd been fired and assumed it was fake news, but I can see her quitting to become a SaHM.

(Why are you posting in duplicate?)

I think she wants to be a S@HM.

A new generation of hot brunette daughters? Her looks appeal to me.

I'd be interested in what she goes through with kids. America has made
it absurdly expensive to raise children and it would be interesting to
see if she's bucking trends or caving in to them.

"They tried to arrest me because I insist that my children walk or ride
their bikes to school every day!"

The ridiculous hysteria over 'stranger danger' has led to the schools in my city prohibiting parents from allowing their kids to walk, skateboard, or bike to school. If you live too close to the school to qualify for bus service, you're required to drive your kid to school. If your kid shows up via anything other than bus or car, it's detention. This has led to some absurd cases where kids have faced school punishment because their parents let them walk to a school they literally live right across the street from. The school actually told the parents they have to load the kid in the car, drive him 30 yards across the street, and let him out again.

This from a city that's anti-car in every other respect and which we're constantly having to fight to keep from turning all our roads into bike lanes. The governmental schizophrenia is amazing to behold.

Not a problem here. I'll often go for a walk around the complex even
in the early morning. If I'm out walking around 6-6:30 AM I'll see the
high school kids heading off to the nearby school on foot. (It's only
about a few hundred yards away.) I won't see kids walking to the
middle school but that's almost a mile away so that makes sense.

While there's definitely a bit of that 'stranger danger' attitude on
the local new it doesn't really seem to impact most of the parents
around here. Or maybe it's just that these are more middle class
parents and so don't have the time/money to dedicate to watching over
    their kids 24/7.

If your kid shows up via anything
other than bus or car, it's detention.

So you could drop them off with a motorcycle? Or is that child
    endangerment?
