Yesterday, I really just wanted to take it easy so I mostly listened to
music, and read about train lines and such. (Don't you judge me!!)

Thus, all I got through were soaps:

soaps: DOOL - A kind of all-over-the-place episode. Stephanie and Alex
continue their awkward dance of attraction. Joy pleads with Johnny not
to tell Chanel about their affair/one-night stand... so instead, Johnny
    tells EJ! JJ punches EJ for being a jerk to both Gabi and himself;
later, JJ buries the hatchet with Gabi(? why?!). In a shock to no one,
Paulina plays the feminist/sexist card, and refuses to give Rafe the commissioner job back, keeping Jada in the position - looks like Rafe is
stuck being a detective again, and working *under* his fiancee!
GH - Drew wins the Congressional election - are they writing him
out?! or will the scandal with Willow force him to resign?! Michael
tells Jason about Drew's and Willow's affair - at the end of the epie,
Jason confronts Drew (with Nina) and looks like he wants to kill Drew!
Maxie warns Nina that she's playing with fire by sleeping with Drew and
not telling Willow. Jason and Spinelli seem to figure out that Brennan
is hiding Valentin. Brennan acts all weird (and off-putting) with Carly.
More nonsense with both Kristina and Natalia (Booby Vista).

lines and watching the train going round and round the tracks.

    What did you watch?

I spent most of my time trying to organize my music collection but did
get in some watching. I watched the latest episode of HIGH POTENTIAL
where a couple of army vets came into the detective's area with a bomb
and remote trigger to force the detectives to reopen a case against a
buddy of theirs that was facing a life sentence for a murder he didn't
commit. Not exactly a reasonable scenario but at least they had an
explanation for how they got the bomb into the precinct.

Oh, I also managed to catch up on TULSA KING where multiple people
ended up either dead or forced to change their role under threat of
death. I won't say more to avoid spoiling the episodes.

The problem with these streaming shows is, unless it's a major franchise
like Star Trek or the MCU, I keep forgetting they exist so I never get
    around to watching them.

    What did you watch?

    I watched:

Inkheart (blu-ray) 2008 fantasy movie starring Brendan Fraser as a man
with the ability to bring forth the things he reads in books. At the
start he is unaware he has this ability until he's married with a child
and while reading a fantasy book the characters began to materialize
including the main villain played by Andy Serkis (along with his
henchmen) and a random side character played by Paul Bettany. A side
effect of Fraser's powers, which he can't control, is someone gets
pulled into the book and in this case it's his wife. The story then
jumps ahead to Fraser taking his teenage daughter all over the world
trying to track down the original book so he can read his wife out,
while Serkis has done very well for himself in the modern world and is
after Fraser to force him to read more things out of books.

I haven't watched this since around the time of the original release. I
have been looking forward to revisiting it, even though I had low
expectations. It turns out, the movie was much better than I was
anticipating. I think because when the movie first came out I was upset
the plot didn't have Fraser reading out characters from popular books,
instead of a few public domain books. But on this viewing I was able to
just sit back and enjoy the movie.

I get that. Since I tend to record/download everything first I have
the episodes stored away so I don't forget about them. All I have to
do is look through my collection and I can see what I wanted to watch.
That said things can still end up being set aside and not watched for
a long time. I have a number of shows that I want to finish but
stopped at some point because I got busy and have never gotten back to
    them.

    The FBIs.

Scola gets his new spicy latina partner that Robin tells us will only be in a few episodes. They even make a joke about how many partners Scola is going through-- he says he's getting tired of the speed dating.

She's okay. Her character is a bipoc version of Clarice Starling-- a profiler from "the BAU in the basement". She's kinda annoying but was obviously purposely written that way to give her something to work on. She's cute and pretty and teeny tiny-- Maggie hulks over in the scene they have together and it's not like Maggie is a huge woman--which makes her fairly unbelievable as
    an FBI agent.

Maybe that's why she was fired-- because once they saw her on screen and realized she looks like a child compared to all the other actors in the scene, they knew they needed someone with more gravitas to play a federal agent.
