Let's be clear - HAMAS is using Gazan civilians as human shields.

Assuming the IDF is not in the mood to surrender to HAMAS that
inevitably is going to up the civilian death toll.

Because given the use of "human shields" that's pretty much the only
    two alternatives.

That and the desire to not put their own soldiers lives on the line.
They could go door to door and avoid the loss of life that results
from bombings. Though that would risk many more IDF lives being lost.

Israel has always used the "human shields" argument, this is
no new campaign. They've used this argument is the 1970's.
for example, when they said that "terrorists hide behind the
    innocent".

We've all heard the slogan, "Jews are always good and their
victims are always evil". Jews alone should say this.

That the more practical side is to oppose Israel out
of opposition to illegal immigration: Jews view
mass immigration as a battering ram against whites
in Western countries and are the key figures of the
Immigration Lobby. Jews may hate muslim antisemites but
they hate white antisemites a million times more.

Don't tell me. Tell that to all the Hamas apologists outside Gaza.

True - as I say if the other side is using "human shields" your only alternative to surrendering is to inflict unnecessary casualties - and
the blame for that SHOULDN'T be on you. (Unless you're Israel in which
case the usual suspects think any damnable lie is acceptable)

I just saw this story in the Times of Israel about the Arabs in Michigan
who helped elect Trump, in the hopes that he'd do better at achieving
peace in the Middle East. I knew that *some* Michigan Arabs were voting
Trump out of frustration with Biden and Harris but this article says 47%
of Dearborn Arabs voted Trump, compared to 28% for Harris. Remarkable to
    say the least!

I figured they were punishing Harris for not supporting the destruction of Irael.

I think that's more likely than them having any actual enthusiasm for Trump.

I don't think so. Trump is good at making connections with disaffected
men. They feel powerless with Gaza getting blown to smithereens. The
penny didn't drop that Trump won't stop weapons sales.

Which is the real problem in that people can't make those connections.
That sort of critical thinking is missing with the general public. I
don't know if it's just a lack of it being thought or if people are
just too busy with their life to think things thru. If people did that
it would at least force politicians to be more consistent with regards
to what they say and what they try to implement.
