    What did I watch 10/22/24?

    Only Murderers in the Building
    S04E09 “Escape from Planet Klongo”

We get the first celebrity guest of the season and we find out who the
killer is. Really not a lot more to come back to the final episode for.

    Tracker S02E02 “Ontological Shock”

Tracker is hired by Brooke Nevin (Buffy the Vampire from Smallville) to
find her father (a shockingly old Clayton Webb from JAG) who may or may not have been grabbed by a UFO. Evil government guys headed by the cop from
The Glades immediately grab Tracker and Tracker’s Supernatural brother is sent into rescue him. The father really doesn’t want to be rescued because he wants to see the UFOs and the Tracker brothers murder a bunch of guys
that may or may not not work for the government. The father wants to see
the UFO but Tracker says it’s all a trick to convince the father he saw a
UFO although I don’t know why they’re trying to stop him from seeing the UFO then. Tracker’s Supernatural brother is convinced that UFOs are real. They bring the father home and his vampire daughter is standing out in the front yard with $20,000 in cash as a payment. Meanwhile, the set up with
the Tracker helpers seems to be completely different than it was last week
and I don’t understand any of it. I am unsure if this was supposed to be a comedy episode or not.

    NCIS S22E02 “Foreign Bodies”

This was terrible, possibly the worst episode of the series, as people are being gruesomely murdered, and yet it’s all played as screwball comedy
trying to keep the murders secret from the press. Apparently, they finally figured out that we have never known where the door to Vance’s office is
and so they just used the door to MTAC, hoping we wouldn’t notice. The law of conservation of characters ensures that the killers are exactly who we thought they were the first time we saw them.

NCISO (The “O” stands for: ORIGINS!) S01E03 “Bend, Don't Break”

    Bored now.

    Rescue: HI-Surf S01E06 “Drift”

The last couple episodes didn’t record because conflict so I don’t know who got killed but somebody did and nobody does their jobs and everybody
continues to need to be fired. I only now noticed that it’s not high surf
but it’s HI surf – the “HI“ Stands for: HAWAII! The show also picks up an
actual series opening. The first few episodes seemed like it was some thing that wasn’t quite finished and they just threw it on the air because they
had a hole in the schedule.

    The Lincoln Lawyer S03E01-10

This was sort of a mess, swinging back-and-forth wildly between clumsy
wacky comedy, and melodrama, and romance. But what it didn’t have much of
was Lincoln automobiles. And it ends on a cliffhanger!

    \S/tupidman & Lowest S04E04 “A Perfectly Good Wedding”

This started out OK as the son who has new powers starts his training and
the first thing he does is throw himself off a cliff in crucifixion pose
and go all the way to the bottom and splat like Wiley coyote. Then it gets awful as the girls take over and it’s all about throwing a wedding for the newspaper assistant and her horrible mother. Clark is supposedly horribly weakened by the human heart that left a huge scar in his chest although his uniform was undamaged, but he still has vastly greater powers than Jonathan does. Everybody in Smallville knows Clark’s secret identity and for some reason Lex has skipped town, but will be back next week.

    Murdoch Mysteries S18E04 “Gimme Shelter”

A not particularly good episode with lots of woke messages as somebody is trying to build affordable housing for the poor, but it’s all a scam and of course the actual murderer turns out to be the stuffy wealthy woman. It’s unclear as to if the show is in favor of casual to excessive cocaine usage
    or not.

Blue Bloods S14E11 (actually S15E01) “Life Sentence”

Jamie gets his car stolen. He’s standing there, with a gun, actually
touching the car, and these three guys take it and make faces at him out
the window before they drive away in it. And he doesn’t even shoot a tire
or something. And then Cousin Joe helps him find it which they do
immediately at a chop shop two blocks away, but they can’t just do anything about it and so days pass before they finally raid the place and find that nobody’s got around to touching it yet. That’s not the way it works. That’s
not the way any of it works. So he gives the thing to Joe.

Erin is accused of malfeasance by a DA who I guess is from a different
office who’s never met her before and orders her out of her own office
until it’s all cleared up. I can’t imagine that’s the way it works. I can’t
imagine that’s the way any of it works.

Frank has to deal with the crazy archbishop again trying to make sure that
a stone multiple victim killer doesn’t get extradited to someplace they
would give him the swift death of Justice he so surely deserves.

I think Danny investigated the accusations against Erin.

Baker wore a lovely frock that made her look like Frank Gorshin on Star
    Trek.

Eddie was crazier than usual and brought home a murder victim’s daughter to take care of her because social services is useless as always and screamed
at the detectives trying to catch her mother and the guy actually called
her a bitch which I enjoyed quite a bit.

Grandpa convinced Jamie not to worry about material things and Jamie gave
    Joe his father’s car.

Yeah, I kept questioning if that was actually him until we got a
daytime shot because of all the gray. Though the last time I saw him
was some time ago in SG-1 so his turning gray in the mean time isn't a
    real surprise.

The only person murdered was the lady scientist. Why she was murdered
I don't understand other than the writer wanting to show us the bad
guys were really bad. After all they just needed to keep her locked up
for a day and what ever was going to happen would have happened.
Killing her and staging it like a suicide made no sense other than to
play into the conspiracy theories of the government covering up
UAP/UFO sightings/info by killing researchers through "suicide."

It seems like the one lady who was paired with the older lady in this
episode has disappeared without a mention. Not sure if she's been
written out or is tied up with another project. As for Rennie she's
been busy setting up her own private practice since she quit her
    corporate law job.

They really hasn’t been any development you need to know about since the pilot. The head lifeguard is still incompetent mourning the death of his daughter. The main female lifeguard is still too old for the job and still angling for her bosses job.

I was sure that was going to be a red herring, but we never heard anything
    more about her.

Tracker murdered at least one guard. Strangled him from behind with a gun
in his throat. You don’t render somebody unconscious that way. They even showed the corpse laying there Later when they ran off.
