• Controversial Dance Video

From BTR1701@21:1/5 to All on Sat Aug 10 00:39:25 2024
This video of a sorority dance video is making the rounds on TwitterX and some people are very upset by it.

    https://video.twimg.com/amplify_video/1821991585111801856/vid/avc1/576x1024/bqnZYS2GkYiqAdKy.mp4?tag=16

The problem seems to be that it's all white people, not one black person can
be seen, and that's some kind of latter-day hate crime.

Of course TwitterX and TikTok are overflowing with dance videos featuring groups made up entirely of black people and that's perfectly fine. No one's running for the fainting couch or reaching for the smelling salts over them.

Only when a group of white people get together and dance does it become unbearably offensive.

    Curious.

It's almost as if there's some unwritten rule now among the 'progressive' intelligentsia that white people aren't even allowed to gather together anymore.

Those aren't just "white people", those are gorgeous young marriageable Southern belles. There's something about women in the South...

I hope they aren't discriminating against gorgeous black women.

Yes, I believe a white supremacist would think this. And I use the word "think" very loosely.

My guess is part of the problem is it looks to be an all white girl
sorority from the University of Alabama. That's going to give some
    people a reason to complain.

Have you met people, shawn? They don't need a reason to complain. They
    just complain.

The right response would be to produce a video with gorgeous women of a
black sorority. Then let us debate "Taste great!" "Less filling!" or
    that Carl's Jr. ad campaign.

I wonder do they have a similar sorority for black women at the
University of Alabama? That would be the ideal place to have the
alternate view. Hell, given the work I've some of the black colleges
marching bands have put in I have no doubt that there are some black
sororities that could put those dance moves in the original video to
    shame.

Ah, they do but I couldn't find a proper video from them so perhaps
this one from the same DST sorority from Alabama A&M University will
    do? https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=aB2WaEbJOd8&ab_channel=KillaKevProductions

    Curious.

My guess is part of the problem is it looks to be an all white girl
sorority from the University of Alabama. That's going to give some
    people a reason to complain.

    Because all-black sororities don't exist...

    That's different, don't ya know.

I'd guess there might be more mixed-race sororities than all-white.

Oath Keeper Twat must hate this album, or he would if he wasn't too busy listening to John Williams rip off Erich Korngold.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trans_(album)

Trans is the thirteenth studio album by Canadian-American musician and singer-songwriter Neil Young, released on January 10, 1983. Recorded and released during his Geffen era in the 1980s, its electronic sound
baffled many fans upon its initial release—a Sennheiser vocoder
VSM201[6] features prominently in six of the nine tracks.
